Betterbee makes every effort to get your order out as quickly as possible. During the off season (September-February), most in-stock orders ship within 2-4 business days of the order date, and often much sooner. During the busy months (March-August), orders can leave our facility up to 5-7 days after they are placed. Orders are processed in the order they are received. If you need your order to arrive by a particular date, please call before ordering to ensure we can meet your needs.

FedEx & USPS

Betterbee offers FedEx shipping as well as US Postal Priority Mail and First Class mail. Shipping costs are calculated at the time of checkout based on the sizes and weights of the items in your order. You can also estimate the shipping cost at any time by clicking "My Cart" in the upper right corner, then "Estimate Shipping." Enter your State and Zip Code to get a shipping estimate.   FedEx Ground and Home offer quick and reasonably priced ground shipping within the US. In the Northeast, Ground and Home arrive in one or two days. Deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday for Home (residential) deliveries, and Monday through Friday for Ground (business addresses). The map above shows the estimated Ground shipping transit time from our store in Greenwich, NY. Before you pay extra for overnight or two-day shipping, check the map to see if Ground delivery will deliver as quickly for much less money.  We also offer quicker shipping times with FedEx Overnight, FedEx 2-Day, and FedEx Saver (3-day) FedEx Saver. FedEx guarantees these shipping times as long as the order is placed before 1 pm EST during a Betterbee business day (Monday-Friday).

Note: Shipping times (e.g. 2 days) are quoted in business days from the date of shipment. For example, if an order is shipped on Friday via FedEx 2-day shipping, it will arrive on Tuesday.  

 

LTL Shipping

We strive to get our customers products at the best possible shipping price. Due to the weight of oversized products, they are unable to ship by FedEx and as such, the shipping cost is more specific to the customer. For items we allow you to add to your cart, we place a $350 charge as a placeholder estimate. The actual cost of shipping ranges between $200-$500 per pallet. Larger items may need to ship in a crate. Crate shipping ranges between $400-$900 per crate. We realize some of you will want to know more before making a purchase and we are happy to work with you. We ask that when you contact us, you provide the following information so we can have an accurate quote done up for you:

• Location type (Home, Farm, Commercial Facility) 
• Is a liftgate required, or do you have a forklift? 
• Is a delivery appointment required?
