Prefer the classic gear style bottler design, then this gear style Lyson Honey Bottler is the answer. Operated by foot pedal or bottle switch, this unit pumps, measures, and dispenses liquid (or unset creamed) honey into your containers with ease. Honey is pumped from a tank/pail/drum through a five foot (1.5m) intake hose before dispensing into the containers of your choice. This unit allows you to bottle approximately 350 one-pound (16oz) jars per hour (depending on the type and density of your honey). The bottler features a programmable digital display and will dispense quantities up to 45kg (99lbs). The Lyson Honey Bottler Gear Style uses two hard plastic rotating "gears" or "screws" to dispense honey. One screw is driven by the motor and the second screw turns with the first to move honey. All of the surfaces that come in contact with honey are stainless steel or food safe plastic. Convenient thumb screw knobs allow the unit to be easily disassembled for cleaning. The Lyson Honey Bottler works best with honey that is at room temperature or above. For easiest filling, connect the bottler to a tank that is level with (or slightly above) the bottling machine. The hose can also be primed with honey, and then placed into a tank/pail/drum that is below the bottler.

For more demanding appplications such as warm honey temperatures, the Lyson Bottler Anti-drip Device, LYHPW204001ADD, provides additional drip protection. The device is sold separately and easily attaches to the bottlers sanitary fitting.

The unit can also be used to cream or pump honey. The bottler nozzle is removed leaving a sanitary fitting for a hose to be connected. To cream honey, introduce seed crystal and then recirculate the tank to mix the seed. Rearrange the hoses and use the bottler to pump a drum into a tank. Additional hose(s) and fittings will be required for these operations.
